In 2016, Mathieu began the expansion of Groupe Leblond with the acquisition of the company Transport René Lavoie, from Matane. This company mainly did food transportation in Lower St Lawrence and Gaspesie, as well as in Labrador. By making the acquisition, the company developed more customers and TRL trucks now travel troughout the province of Quebec, the Maritime provinces and Ontario. You may even see LCV (long combination vehicle) in their color, since they have developed this epertise in the region.
